The Cubs and the Cubs players' and coaches' wives are looking forward to the 10th annual food drive presented by Meijer on Saturday, August 11. Please visit Gate D before the game from the time the gates open until the end of the second inning where you can help support the local work of Lakeview Pantry. A donation of $20 allows the pantry to purchase 200 pounds of food. Fans that make a $20 donation will receive an autographed 5x7 Cubs player photo. Limit two per person while supplies last.
All proceeds from the food drive benefit our neighbor, Lakeview Pantry. Many in our community struggle to secure food for themselves and their families. This annual food drive makes a big impact and allows the Lakeview Pantry to get food to those in need -- this is the Pantry's largest food drive each year! So please join us at the Cubs game vs. the Reds on August 11. Together, we can combat hunger in our community. We appreciate your help in making this year's Wives 10th Annual Food Drive a big success!

The Cubs Wives once again made a visit to Maryville Crisis Nursery this year. The wives spent time reading stories, playing board games and spending time with the children. The Maryville Crisis Nursery provides short term care for children of families who are experiencing a severe disruptive crisis and/or are challenged with an urgent family matter.
Each spring, the Cubs Wives host a food drive and garage sale at HoHoKam Park in Mesa, Arizona to benefit Paz de Cristo, a local community center serving those in need. Since 2005, this event has become a tradition that vies back to those in need in our Mesa Spring Training community.
The Chicago Cubs wives hosted a Breast Cancer day at the ballpark in conjunction with Advocate Health Care. The wives collected donations and distributed Cubs branded pink wristbands. All the proceeds help support Advocate Health Care breast cancer screening for uninsured and underinsured women.
