There's more to summer in Milwaukee than beaches, festivals and Brewers games. A group of high school students and chaperones are a good example of that.
The First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, Mo., sent a group of 43 to Milwaukee for a two-week mission to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Guest House of Milwaukee and Hunger Task Force.
The group is in town for two weeks, working during the day. At night, they have social events, group gatherings and even laundry night.
Anna Brodersen and Andrew Paniello said, "[We're] just helping the world, one Cardinals-Brewers game at a time. So ask not what you can do for yourself, ask what you can do for the world. We are all part of the same world, same universe and the same human race."
