Royals Charities 5K Walk/Run

Royals Charities 5K Run/Walk - 8:00 a.m. Start


The race starts outside of Kauffman Stadium near Gate E, and the course includes running the length of the warning track at Kauffman Stadium. The race finishes near Gate E. (Course subject to change).

Registration Dates and Entry Fees

The Royals Charities 5K Run/Walk Online Registration is now Closed. You can still register at Packet Pickup on Friday, August 21 from noon-8pm at UltraMax (Fleet Feet), 6911 Tomahawk, Prairie Village, KS 66208 or the day of the Run Saturday, August 22 6am-7am at Rivals Sports Bar at Kauffman Stadium.

Take I-70 to Blue Ridge Cutoff and enter Gate 2. Park in Lot A and proceed to Gate E. Rivals Sports Bar is located inside Gate E.

All Participants Will Receive:

  • One View Level Infield Voucher to redeem for one ticket to one of the below games of the 2015 Royals Season (Value $18.00).
    • Available Games:
    • August: 24, 25, 26, 27
    • September: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 22, 23, 24
    • (Excluding Cleveland Series due to inventory)
  • Commemorative T-Shirt
  • Food and drink following the race
  • Option to purchase additional discounted tickets

Age Groups

13 & under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over


Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers. The top three finishers in each age bracket we will be recognized. There will be a ceremony at the Main Stage following the race.


The Royals Charities 5K Run/Walk will be USATF certified and chip timed.


Safety comes first. The race director reserves the right to cancel the event if weather conditions pose a danger to the participants. There will be no refunds. No headphones, iPods, strollers, dogs, skateboards, bicycles, rollerblades or motorized vehicles will be allowed on the 5K Run/Walk course.
