Retail Sales Associate

Job Title: Retail Sales Associate @ Bellevue Square Mariners Team Store
Department: Merchandising
Reports To: Store Manager
Pay Rate: $11.00/Hour

The Position:
The Seattle Mariners Baseball Club is currently recruiting to fill the position of Retail Sales Associate at Bellevue Square Mariners Team Store.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with specific merchandise and ticketing needs.
  • Handle guest questions regarding merchandise and general ballpark information.
  • Answering Phones
  • Be prepared to assume additional responsibilities that fall outside of their primary responsibilities.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must have a guest friendly attitude.
  • Previous retail guest service experience required.
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Responsible for balancing of tills and inventory.
  • Comfortable working with POS/Computers.
  • Selling tickets using the Ticketmaster software.
  • Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50lbs

Availability:

  • Must have flexible work schedule, nights, weekends, and Holidays a must. Game days, including evenings, weekends, and Holidays.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Market Research Analyst

Job Title: Market Research Analyst
Department: Sales
Reports To: Vice President of Sales

The Position:
The Seattle Mariners Baseball Club is currently recruiting to fill the position of a Market Research Analyst reporting to the Vice President of Sales. The Market Research Analyst for the Seattle Mariners is responsible for understanding our business processes and challenges with a focus on partnering with key stakeholders to solicit information needs and deliver data analysis solutions through reports, dashboards, and SQL queries to the Sales Department and other internal clients. The Market Research Analyst will be an integral part of our energetic team working creatively using analytics, business intelligence, and data warehouse technologies to ensure that business objectives are met.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and generate reports on Sales Department data.
  • Provide reports to management detailing customer service data, sales activities, pipeline status and pending business.
  • Utilizing business intelligence software, identify, extract and analyze marketing, sales and customer service data to support business decisions.
  • Work closely with management to define new analysis/reporting initiatives through creative data analysis, research and other sales operations-related activities.
  • Develop and track lead lists for e-mail, mail and phone campaigns; interpret and evaluate campaign results.
  • Manage aspects of the technology project life cycle.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Management Information Systems.
  • Experience using Graphical Exploratory Data Analysis (Data Visualization) techniques and On-Line Analytic Processing for sales and/or marketing data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience preparing reports detailing sales activities, pipeline status and pending business by using data mining techniques, including Association, Classification, Clustering, Prediction, Sequential Patterns, and Decision trees.
  • Experience with Program Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) or Gantt Charts.
