This Day in Baseball History:
August 1, 1972 > San Diego's Nate Colbert sets a Major League record with 13 RBIs and ties another one with five home runs over the course of a doubleheader against the Atlanta Braves. Colbert clubs two home runs and drives in five runners in the first game, then clouts a grand slam and two two-run shots in the second. Thanks to his offense, the Padres sweep the doubleheader, 9-0 and 11-7.
