Josh Hancock, 1978-2007
Cardinals pitcher Josh Hancock, 29, was killed in a car accident early April 29 on Interstate 64 in St. Louis. According to the St. Louis Police Dept., Hancock's vehicle hit a tow truck at approximately 12:35 a.m. CT and he died at the scene. Hancock, who joined the club in 2006, had pitched three innings on Saturday vs. the Cubs.   More >

  of the 2006 NLDS against San Diego.
