
The youngest of the catching Molinas, Yadier comes from a baseball family. His older brothers, Bengie and Jose, caught in the big leagues (Jose still does), and his father Benjamin was an infielder in Puerto Rico. Molina is an icon to Cardinals fans for his big hits, most notably his critical home run in Game 7 of the 2006 National League Championship Series
