Cards' pen not as sharp in NLCS as in regular season
tickets for any Major League Baseball game
For the third game in a row, the Cardinals bullpen faltered on Monday as closer Jason Isringhausen, who had not allowed a hit in three appearances, surrendered a three-run, walk-off home run to Jeff Kent in the bottom of the ninth. The home run was the seventh given up by the bullpen this series, and Redbird relievers, who posted an NL-best 3.01 ERA during the regular season, have allowed at least one run in nine of 17 appearances.

The bullpen's struggles send the Redbirds back to St. Louis trailing the Astros, 3-2 in the series. Eleven times an LCS series has been tied, 2-2, and the winner of Game 5 went on to take the series in nine of those instances.
