ST. LOUIS -- The Cardinals formally announced their full 2008 Spring Training schedule on Tuesday, including ticket information for the slate of games at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.

The slate includes seven games against the Cards' RDS co-tenants, the Florida Marlins. St. Louis will be the "home" team in three of those games.

The usual suspects dot the schedule, with five games against the Mets and five against the Orioles, the Cards' two closest neighbors besides Florida in the Grapefruit League. St. Louis plays Washington three times and Los Angeles three times. This spring will feature the Redbirds' final visits to Dodgertown, with March 7 and 14 games at Vero Beach. The Dodgers will leave Florida for Arizona next spring.

The Cardinals and Braves meet four times this spring, two in Jupiter and two in Orlando. They also have a home-and-home with the Twins.

The only night game of the Grapefruit League season is set for March 5 as part of a doubleheader of sorts. The Cardinals play at home against the Nationals in the afternoon, then will be the visiting team against the Marlins in a 6:05 p.m. CT start. All other home games start at 12:05 p.m. CT.

Three games on the schedule will not fall under the category of typical Grapefruit League play. The Cards make their first spring game appearance on Feb. 27 with a contest against St. Louis University. They wrap up the spring with two exhibitions in Springfield, Mo., March 28 and 29.

Report dates were also announced. Pitchers and catchers report on Thursday, Feb. 14, with workouts starting on Feb. 15. Remaining players report Feb. 18, and full-squad workouts begin on Feb. 19.
