White Sox at the plate: Jermaine Dye knocked his third Cactus League home run, a two-run shot to left off starter Dan Haren. Jerry Owens plated the Sox first run on a grounder in the third, then tripled and scored a run as part of the White Sox game-tying two-run rally in the second. He singled in the seventh and was stranded at third.

D-backs at the plate: Conor Jackson had three hits, singling to right and center and doubling home the go-ahead run in the seventh with a drive down the left-field line. Augie Ojeda drove a couple runs home with a one-out single to center in the second, and Justin Upton led off the third with a double and later scored on a sacrifice fly.

White Sox on the mound: Gavin Floyd pitched four innings and gave up five runs (four earned), on five hits, three walks and two wild pitches while striking out three. Tomo Ohka held the D-backs with two scoreless innings, allowing two hits.

D-backs on the mound: Haren pitched five innings and allowed five runs (three earned) on six hits. He allowed no walks and struck out four. Brandon Medders and Emiliano Fruto each had scoreless outings, with Medders throwing two innings of three-hit ball while walking two and striking out two. Fruto pitched an inning, yielding two hits and one walk.

Cactus League records: Diamondbacks 7-12, White Sox 9-11.

Up next for the D-backs: Edgar Gonzalez climbs the hill for the D-backs on Monday, taking on the Padres southpaw Glendon Rusch in Tucson at 1:05 p.m. MST. Doug Davis will start a Minor League game, followed by Brandon Lyon, Tony Pena and Chad Qualls.

Up next for the White Sox: Javier Vazquez tries to follow up his dominant effort on Wednesday when he takes the mound on Monday in Maryvale, Ariz., against the Brewers. Bobby Jenks also is scheduled to appear, with first pitch set for 3:05 p.m. CT.
