Diamondbacks at the plate: Stephen Drew and Augie Ojeda had two hits apiece and Chris Burke scored two runs for the D-backs, who led for most of the game and were aided by four Brewers errors. Arizona stranded 12 men on base.

Brewers at the plate: Second baseman Rickie Weeks, who struck out 20 times in his first 40 spring at-bats and had not played in a week because of an injured right hand, belted a go-ahead, three-run home run off right-hander Leo Rosales in the seventh inning. Weeks finished with two hits and didn't whiff in the game. First baseman Prince Fielder had two hits and an RBI.

Diamondbacks on the mound: Left-hander Doug Davis lasted only four innings but limited the damage against his old club, allowing two Brewers runs on six hits. Juan Cruz was nasty in relief, striking out two of the three batters he faced in a perfect sixth inning.

Brewers on the mound: Starter Jeff Suppan surrendered three runs, two of them earned, on five hits in five innings of work with five strikeouts. His next outing will come Friday at Miller Park, when the Brewers host the Royals in a pair of exhibitions. Lefty Brian Shouse worked the ninth for the save.

Cactus League records: Diamondbacks 9-16, Brewers 16-9-1.

Up next for Diamondbacks: Micah Owings takes the hill for the D-backs as they host the Giants at 1:05 p.m. MST Monday at Tucson Electric Park. Owings has struggled with command of his fastball throughout the spring, and may be jockeying for position at the back of the rotation with Edgar Martinez, who is likely to take Randy Johnson's spot for at least one turn through the rotation.

Up next for Brewers: Since the team plans to set its roster before leaving Arizona on Thursday, left-hander Manny Parra will make his final bid for a spot in the starting rotation when he faces right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez and the Rockies at Maryvale Baseball Park on Monday at 3:05 p.m. CT. Parra will work only four innings or 65 pitches because the Brewers also want to see relievers Guillermo Mota, Salomon Torres, Eric Gagne and Derrick Turnbow.

Parra took a 0.64 Cactus League ERA into his last start, but surrendered eight runs and 10 hits to the Royals, boosting his ERA to 4.58. Assuming the Brewers stick with veterans Dave Bush and Claudio Vargas in the rotation, the final opening could come down to Parra vs. right-hander Carlos Villanueva. Working in Parra's favor is that he would be the team's only left-handed starter, but Villanueva is more experienced and has been equally good this spring.
