Brewers at the plate: J.J. Hardy hit a two-run double, Rickie Weeks hit a two-run triple and Mike Cameron added a solo homer in a six-run second inning. Mike Rivera had two RBIs and three hits, including two doubles.

Cubs at the plate: Alfonso Soriano belted a three-run homer in the second, his third this spring. Micah Hoffpauir hit a pair of homers. He led off the sixth, and added a two-run shot in the seventh. Ronny Cedeno also hit a solo homer in the sixth. Mark DeRosa had a single and a triple.

Brewers on the mound: Mike DiFelice, slowed this spring because of a knee injury, made his first appearance in a game. He gave up one run on two hits and one walk over one inning, striking out one. Sam Narron gave up three runs on four hits over four innings.

Cubs on the mound: Sean Marshall, battling for the final spot in the bullpen, escaped a jam in the fourth inning when he got Martin Maldonado to line into a double play. But Marshall gave up an RBI double to Mike Rivera in the fifth. The lefty walked three and gave up one hit in two innings. Tim Lahey, a Rule 5 Draft pick, pitched a perfect sixth, then walked a batter and gave up a single before he was pulled.

Cactus League records: Brewers 17-10-1; Cubs 14-15-2. Thursday's crowd of 12,782 was the 11th sellout at HoHoKam Park, and the Cubs finished with the highest home spring attendance in the Major Leagues at 181,280. It's the third-highest figure for the Cubs at HoHoKam Park.

Up next for the Brewers: The Brewers head north to Milwaukee, and will play exhibition games Friday and Saturday against the Royals. On Friday at 7:05 p.m. CT, Jeff Suppan gets the start. Dave Bush will go Saturday at 2:05 p.m. These will be the last games before the Cubs and Brewers square off on Opening Day, Monday, at Wrigley Field.

Up next for the Cubs: It's Vegas, baby. The Cubs are headed to Las Vegas to play two exhibition games against the Mariners on Friday and Saturday before heading to Chicago. Lefty Ted Lilly is slated to start Friday at 9:15 p.m. CT, with Ryan Dempster on Saturday at 2:05 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on WGN Radio, with Friday's game on MLB.TV and WGN TV.
