ST. LOUIS -- The Cardinals announced their Minor League rosters on Thursday, as it's Opening Day across the bus leagues.

Triple-A Memphis opens on the road against Oklahoma, with a 7:05 p.m. CT start at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. Mike Parisi, who impressed Cardinals brass this spring, will be the Opening Night starter for the Redbirds. Joining Parisi in the season-opening rotation will be Mitchell Boggs, Blake Hawksworth, John Wasdin and Joe Rogers.

Other notables on the Memphis roster include No. 1 prospect Colby Rasmus, relievers Chris Perez and Jason Motte and third baseman David Freese, who was acquired in the Jim Edmonds trade. Juan Gonzalez is officially listed on the Memphis roster, though he's on the temporarily inactive list as he attempts to recover from an abdominal strain.

The Double-A Springfield Cardinals open at home, with a 7:10 p.m. CT start against Frisco. The S-Cards' Opening Night starter will be P.J. Walters, the organization's Minor League pitcher of the year in 2007.

Springfield will feature the most prospect-laden rotation in the organization, with Adam Daniels, Jaime Garcia, Clay Mortensen and Adam Ottavino joining Walters. Catcher Bryan Anderson starts the year at Springfield, as do infielders Jose Martinez and Tyler Greene and outfielders Cody Haerther and Jon Jay.

A year after the Cardinals began using a tandem starter system at low Class A Quad Cities, they'll port that plan to high Class A Palm Beach in 2008. So Tyler Herron will start the opener at home against Jupiter, and he'll be followed by Brandon Dickson. Plenty of notables will be pitching in the eight-man tandem system at Palm Beach, including Brad Furnish, David Kopp, Mark McCormick and Jess Todd.

Closer Kenny Maiques and outfielders Tyler Henley, Daryl Jones and Tommy Pham are among the noteworthy names elsewhere on the Palm Beach roster.

Shaun Garceau will start at home for Class A Quad Cities against Wisconsin, and he'll be followed in a tandem start by J.D. Stambaugh. Top 2007 Draft pick Pete Kozma will make his full-season debut for Quad Cities after spending last year at rookie-level Johnson City.
