ST. LOUIS, MO, Apri1 13, 2012 – The St. Louis Cardinals 2012 home opener against the Chicago Cubs has been delayed due to rain in the downtown St. Louis area.  Game time was originally slated for 2:15 p.m. CDT.

The team is hopeful of beginning the Opening Ceremonies at 3 p.m. CDT with first pitch scheduled to follow approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the pre-game ceremonies.
