Omaha finished with a 3-1 record at Round Rock. Wil Myers gave the Storm Chasers a 2-1 lead with a two-run blast in the sixth. He leads the minors with 29 home runs. Irving Falu added insurance with a two-run double in the seventh. Ryan Verdugo limited the Express to a solo homer in the second. He scattered four hits and two walks while fanning eight over 6.0 innings. Vin Mazzaro tossed 3.0 scoreless frames for the save.

The Naturals were swept in a four-game road series. Springfield plated a run in the eighth and two in the ninth, winning on a bases-loaded walk. Carlo Testa hit a three-run blast in the fourth, his second home run in as many days. Kevin Kouzmanoff added two hits and an RBI. The Naturals kick off a seven-game homestand tonight vs. Tulsa (Rockies).

Wilmington lost the first of four vs. Frederick. Starter Andy Ferguson yielded six runs on 10 hits over 5.1 innings. Frederick's Roderick Bernadina sealed the win with a grand slam in the eighth off of Tyler Sample. The first five batters in the Wilmington lineup recorded two hits apiece. Matt Fields hit a two-run homer in the third and added an RBI single in the ninth. Fields has 11 home runs in 29 games.
Kane County Cougars (16-14 in second half, 50-50 overall)

Kane County could not complete a three-game sweep at Dayton. Justin Trapp hit a leadoff home run, though that was the only run for the Cougars. Julio Aparicio and Henry Moreno recorded two hits apiece. Kellen Moen (5.0 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 5 SO) allowed a pair of homers, accounting for three runs.

Idaho Falls moved to 4-1 on the road trip with an opening win at Great Falls. Ethan Chapman, Adalberto Mondesi and Nic Cuckovich each recorded two hits, two runs and an RBI. Jin-Ho Shin posted two hits and two RBI, giving him eight RBI over his last five games.

18-year-old Colin Rodgers continued his dominance of Appy League batters on Monday. The third-round pick retired the first 13 he faced en route to 5.0 shutout innings. Rodgers allowed one hit and two walks while lowering his ERA to 0.73 (2 ER in 24.2 IP). Bubba Starling hit a two-run homer in the fifth.
