Astros trade Dan Johnson to Reds
The Houston Astros have traded infielder Dan Johnson to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations. The announcement was made by Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow.
Astros to celebrate Little League 2015 Opening Day at Community Leaders Parks
Little League Baseball is celebrating Opening Day of the 2015 season on Saturday, March 28, and the Astros are joining in on the festivities at their Community Leaders parks throughout Houston. Astros Foundation Executive Director Twila Carter, Astros legend Jose Cruz and other Astros alumni and personnel will be on hand at several different parks throughout the day to wish the young ballplayers luck as they kick off the 2015 Little League season.
Jeff Luhnow to be guest on Astroline Thursday
HOUSTON, TX - Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow will be the final guest on Astroline which concludes this Thursday, March 26, at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT), and airs from the ESPN Club at Disney's BoardWalk in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Right-handed pitchers Mark Appel and Dan Straily and outfielder Andrew Applin have been sent to minor league camp, Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow announced this morning.

ROOT Sports to broadcast first Astros game Tuesday
ROOT Sports will broadcast its first Astros game on Tuesday when the Astros visit the Pittsburgh Pirates in Bradenton, FL (12:05 pm CT start). It will be the first of four Astros Spring Training telecasts for ROOT Sports.
