Tony La Russa, the winningest manager in St. Louis Cardinals franchise history, today agreed to a new one-year contract with the ballclub for the upcoming 2010 season. In addition, the Cardinals announced that Dave Duncan will be returning for his 15th season as the team's pitching coach and that former Cardinals great Mark McGwire will be serving as the team's hitting coach in 2010.
