Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina seen by hand specialist
The St. Louis Cardinals announced this afternoon that All-Star catcher Yadier Molina had his left thumb examined earlier today by a St. Louis-based hand specialist and it was determined that the injury to the ligament still is present, but Molina will have a splint built to try to allow for him to both hit and catch.
