Cardinals Announce Television Schedule
Fox Sports Midwest to Televise 152 Regular Season Games in HD

The St. Louis Cardinals today announced their television schedule for the 2011 season. FOX Sports Midwest (18th season) will serve as the exclusive local television network of the team.
FOX Sports Midwest will carry over 150 regular season games, up from 130 last season, including Opening Day on March 31 when the Cardinals host the San Diego Padres. FOX Sports Midwest will also televise five Grapefruit League Spring Training games, including the exhibition game on Wednesday, March 16 between the Cardinals and Detroit Tigers at Lakeland, Florida, the first Cardinals television appearance of 2011. FOX Sports Midwest will produce Cardinals Live pregame and postgame shows with Jim Hayes, Pat Parris and Cal Eldred for every regular season telecast on the network. Dan McLaughlin, Al Hrabosky and Rick Horton will again call the games this season from the broadcast booth for FOX Sports Midwest.
In 2010, Cardinals telecasts on FOX Sports Midwest posted the highest local market television ratings in Major League Baseball. FOX Sports Midwest was the number one rated channel in the market on 69 nights during the 2010 season. Fox Sports Midwest-produced Cardinals telecasts are shown in nine states and available in millions of homes.
Ten regular season games are also currently scheduled to be carried as part of Major League Baseball's national television packages with FOX (aired locally on KTVI) and ESPN. A complete Spring Training & 2011 Regular Season schedule follows.
