St. Louis Rams stop by to support Cardinals
Before playing at Cowboys Stadium, NFL team takes in game

The Rams opened their season against the Philadelphia Eagles, while the Cards opened their postseason against the Philadelphia Phillies. While the Cardinals were finishing off the Brewers in Milwaukee during the National League Championship Series last Sunday, the Rams were playing the Packers in Green Bay. And this coming Sunday, just before the Cardinals play Game 4 of the World Series at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, the Rams will be playing at Cowboys Stadium across the street.
"Wow," Rams cornerback Al Harris said. "I didn't notice that. Hopefully we bring them a little luck."
The night before their game against the Cowboys, the entire Rams team -- plus some of their family members -- showed up in support of the Cardinals on Saturday night, sitting in an upper-deck section on the third-base side, exchanging some playful banter with some Rangers fans nearby.
They showed up shortly before first pitch. Then, before 9 p.m. CT -- when the Rangers had just finished putting up three runs in the fourth to trim their deficit -- they departed back to their hotel to get some rest.
Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo brought his players to the ballpark partly because he wanted to support the hometown team, but mostly because he "wanted the players to feel the atmosphere of the World Series."
"I think it's a good thing in sports, to be around it," Spagnolo said. "The more you get a feel for it, the more you crave for it."
