St. Louis pitching was hit hard for a second consecutive night on Wednesday, surrendering 13 runs on 16 hits in a blowout loss against the White Sox. Jason Marquis allowed 13 runs on 14 hits over five innings, while the Cardinals also lost Jim Edmonds to an injury in the third inning after he suffered a mild concussion.
