Slide halted at eight games
Cardinals 4, Brewers 3
Albert Pujols increased his RBI total to 89 with Saturday's two-run homer. (Kyle Ericson/AP)
 Pujols' two-run homer
Anthony Reyes carried a no-hitter into the fourth and four relievers shut out the Brewers on two hits to put an end to the Cardinals' season-long eight-game losing streak. Albert Pujols broke out of a modest slump with his 34th homer before Jim Edmonds made a diving catch with the bases loaded in the sixth inning to preserve a one-run lead.
