Adam Wainwright set a career high in strikeouts with eight and Yadier Molina had the first multi-home run game of his career as the Cards completed their sweep of the Brewers. Wainwright threw seven shutout innings, allowing only five baserunners in the process, bringing surging St. Louis within 2 1/2 games of the division lead.
