Nationals 10, Cardinals 9
Starting pitcher Mike Parisi gave up eight runs in four innings. (Nick Wass/AP)
By Matthew Leach / MLB.com
The Cardinals were down 7-0 early in the game, but there was no quit as the Redbirds chipped away, eventually forcing extra innings. But one run to take the lead in the 10th was countered by a two-run walk-off homer in the bottom of the frame.
