Pineiro dazzles
Photos
Cardinals 3, Cubs 0
Joel Pineiro became the Cards' first five-game winner on Tuesday. (Scott Rovak/Cardinals)
Joel Pineiro was a model of efficiency, piecing together a masterful complete-game shutout -- his first such outing since 2003 -- to shut the door on the Cubs. Colby Rasmus offered some support with a towering 417-foot, two-run homer in the fifth, and Yadier Molina added an RBI single in the first frame.
