A comfort level that can only spell trouble for AL pitchers is beginning to set in for Alex Gordon.

"I'm feeling more comfortable, more relaxed. Being around the guys for a year and having almost the same team, I think really helped us. We enjoy being together, and we're having a fun time up here," the Royals' third baseman told MLBPLAYERS.com in a recent Players Talk show.

"We're all here for the same reason, and that's to win games. That's the main objective."

Gordon, a Lincoln, Neb., native, was the second overall draft selection in 2005 and hit 15 home runs, 36 doubles and collected 60 RBIs as a rookie in 2007.
