Asian Pacific Celebration

Fans attending the Phillies vs. Mets game on Monday April 18 at 7:05 p.m. will be treated to the 13th annual Asian Pacific Celebration at Citizens Bank Park. Highlights include ethnic foods, music and dancing that represent the rich cultural traditions from many Asian countries.

Performance Highlights

Special Left Gate Plaza performances begin at 5:00pm; Pregame performances begin on-field at 6:30 p.m.

  • Traditional and modern performances representing a variety of rich Asian cultures:
    • Hoh Daiko - Japanese Taiko drumming
    • Modero Dance Company - traditional Indonesian
    • Philadelphia Suns - Chinese Lion dance
    • Philippine Folk Arts Society, Inc. Rondalla - traditional Filipino
    • Platinum Dreams Events - modern Bhangra
  • First pitch by John Fuyuume, co-founder of the Seabrook Educational and Cultural Center
  • Performance of the National Anthem by University of Pennsylvania's PennYo
