"Inside the Clubhouse: All-Stars" highlights homegrown Giants All-Stars Brian Wilson, Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Ryan Vogelsong, and Pablo Sandoval, and it also introduces fans to California League All-Star Gary Brown, a top Giants prospect who made the trip to Phoenix to play in All-Star weekend's 2011 XM Futures Game. Brown started in center field, went 1-for-2, stole a base, and scored a run, all against the best prospects the baseball world has to offer. SFG Productions, the in-house production company of the San Francisco Giants, was there throughout that day and throughout a recent day with Brown at Class A Advanced San Jose.
"Inside the Clubhouse: All-Stars" delivers fans the inside perspective on how the Giants draft, develop and produce World Championship-caliber talent. SFG Productions provides an all-access pass from the Giants' minor league system to the San Francisco Giants Front Office, and all the way to the 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Phoenix, Arizona to take fans behind the scenes of the World Champion Giants Organization. The 2011 Giants boasted five All-Star selections, the most from the club since 1966, and Giants executives do not find it a coincidence that all five players were originally drafted by the San Francisco Giants.
Fans will see firsthand the talent recognition and cultivation processes that occur throughout the Giants organization, and understand the pivotal roles Giants coaches, including National League All-Star Manager Bruce Bochy, play in producing All-Stars at all levels.
