Cardinals Wives

While the Cardinals players compete on the field, their generous wives, fiancés, and girlfriends join together to make a difference throughout the St. Louis community. Each year, the Cardinals Wives give back through a variety of fundraisers for area charities. Learn more about their 2017 events below.

Grab Bag Events

Each season, the Cardinals Wives host a number of "Grab Bag" fundraisers. At each game-day event, the ladies sell mystery grab bags to fans for $50. Inside each bag is an autographed baseball from a Cardinals player and a card revealing the mystery signature. All proceeds benefit area non-profits selected by the Cardinals Wives. Grab Bags are available for purchase when gates open until they're sold out. Fans can purchase Grab Bags at Gates 1, 3 and 4, inside Ford Plaza, at the Cardinals Club, Redbird Club and in the suites.

2017 events are scheduled for:

  • Saturday, May 20, 2017 - proceeds benefit Great Circle and Angels Arms
  • Saturday, August 26, 2017 - St. Louis Crisis Nursery and the ALS Association St. Louis Regional Chapter (to support Stephen Piscotty's mom, Gretchen, in her fight against the disease)

Saint Louis Crisis Nursery and ALS Association

The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect and provides emergency intervention, respite care and support to families in crisis through Short-term care for young children in a safe and nurturing environment; helping families resolve crisis; offering resources for empowerment, ongoing support and parent education; community outreach and awareness; and advocacy for children and families.

The ALS Association is the only national not-for-profit organization completely dedicated to fighting ALS. Their work includes research, patient and community services, public education, and advocacy - in providing help, support, and hope to those facing the disease. The ALS Association and the St. Louis Regional Chapter operate under a shared mission- to improve the lives of people living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and to leave no stone unturned in search of treatments and a cure.

Great Circle and Angels Arms

Great Circle is a behavioral health organization that specializes in providing treatment, education, prevention and support services to children and families with a history of physical, sexual or emotional abuse, neglect or abandonment as well as children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disorders. Through the different services, they are able to help these children and families become healthy, enriching members of our communities.

Angels' Arms provides a house and many resources for foster parents, so they can create a loving home for foster children. The mission of the organization is to keep sibling groups together and find homes for hard to place foster kids, including teens transitioning into adulthood. Though Angels' Arms, foster kids experience what it is like to be part of a happy family and a caring community.
