Special Opportunity
Limited Edition Print
Before his death, Jack Buck had been working with his friend and Cardinals owner David Pratt, on a special fund raiser to benefit the Boys and Girls clubs in the St. Louis area
Now, the Cardinals present another special print that honors both baseball and football stars who brought joy to St. Louis when they played.
Inspired by Jack Buck's poem, "A Perfect World," this new print features a drawing of Stan Musial teaching a young boy how to hit. Also pictured are Red Schoendienst, Enos Slaughter, Lou Brock and Bob Gibson along with St. Louis Cardinals football stars Dan Dierdorf, Jackie Smith and Larry Wilson. Every print will be signed by each Hall of Famer.
These Iris prints are created from an original watercolor painting by St. Louis artist, Russell Irwin.
The finished product is 24 inches high and 34 inches ling and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Only 400 prints will be created and sold for $1,505 each. Cardinals owner David Pratt will match that amount for the benefit of the Boys and Girls clubs of St. Louis.
Included in the custom-designed presentation folder is a specially produced 11 X 14 print by famed St. Louis photographer Don Marquess of Jack Buck's inspirational poem, "A Perfect World," that is suitable for framing in its own right.
