In a show of support for the Kirkwood (Mo.) Community, the St. Louis Cardinals wore Kirkwood caps during their spring exhibition opener against the St. Louis University Billikens on Wed., Feb. 27 (12:05 p.m. CST) and Cardinals Care is designating all proceeds from the auctioned off caps, signed by the Cardinals players, to benefit the families of Kirkwood Police Sgt. Bill Biggs and Officer Tom Ballman through The BackStoppers, Inc. and the families of Public Works Director Ken Yost, and Council Members Connie Karr and Mike Lynch through other established funds - the five victims of the February 7 shooting tragedy at Kirkwood City Hall.
