General Admission Field Tickets

• Fans will be allowed to start lining up at Gate 5 on Sunday morning at 7:00am
• Fans with General Admission Field tickets must enter at Gate 5
• No overnight camping allowed
• No open fire, glass or alcohol will be allowed in line
• Concessions will be available
• No blankets allowed on the field
• Please be advised, the field will be very hot and proper footwear should be worn.

Permitted Items

• Backpacks, purses, diaper bags, fanny packs and soft sided coolers that do not exceed a maximum size of 16'x16'x8 (all bags must be able to fit under your seat)
• Non-alcoholic beverages including water and soda in open cups or in clear plastic bottles no larger than 2 liters
• Small personal cameras

Restricted Items

• Alcohol, bottles, cans, thermoses, hard-sided coolers, hard plastic cups/mugs, umbrellas, laser pens/pointers, fireworks, or any other item that poses a threat to other guests, stadium employees or the performers.
• Professional cameras with detachable and/or large lenses.
• Video and audio recorders.

All items will be inspected. Those patrons who refuse a search will be denied entrance into the stadium. Exceptions may be made for medical conditions.

Travel Advisory

All Eastbound lanes of Highway 40 (I-64) will be closed between Jefferson Avenue and the Poplar Street Bridge starting Friday night at 8pm and reopening Sunday evening at 5pm. Also Eastbound and Westbound lanes on I-44 at Jamieson will be closed Friday at 7pm until Monday at 5am. Fans are encouraged to ride MetroLink for this event.

Gratiot Ave. is completely closed at 7th street and two lanes of 7th street are closed for sewer repairs through July 21. Guest using the last Missouri exit from I-64 eastbound who normally pass through this intersection should continue straight south from the hiway exit to Chouteau to their parking location. Expect delays if you plan to use this exit. Guests traveling on 7th street should observe lane closures and shifts. Pedestrians also will need to use caution around the intersection of 7th and Gratiot.

Upon leaving the stadium guest needing to use the I-64 east bound entrance at 6th and Gratiot will need to approach the entrance ramp from Broadway on the east and 6th street on the south and west.

MetroLink

MetroLink will extend its hours of operation to accommodate concert goers on Sunday night. Metro will continue MetroLink service until all Downtown stations are cleared.

ABOUT U2

From the beginning, U2 were marked out by their drive and ambition, admitting they were a band "before they could play". Bono, Edge, Larry Mullen and Adam Clayton met at Mt Temple School and formed U2 in 1978. They produced their first three albums with Steve Lilywhite; Boy (1980), October (1981) and War (1983). Their performance at Live Aid in July 1985 was watched by millions and Time Magazine declared U2 "Rock's Hottest Ticket". Arena tours rolled into stadium tours and The Joshua Tree went on to win the Grammy for Album of the Year in 1987. They released Achtung Baby at the dawn of the 90's and set off on Zoo TV, which travelled the globe twice in two years. That momentum created Zooropa, planned as a single recorded on the road that grew into an EP and eventually became U2's eighth album in 1993. In 2000, U2 returned with All That You Can't Leave Behind; playing a series of gigs in small clubs for the first time in 17 years, Bono announced that U2 were reapplying for their old job - the world's biggest rock band. As they took the Elevation Tour through Europe and the States (twice) in 2001, the unanimous verdict was that they had succeeded. Following the release of How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb in 2005 U2 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Acknowledged as one of the best live acts in the world, U2 have released 12 studio albums and with sales in excess of 155 million. They have won numerous awards; including 22 Grammy's, an Oscar nomination and the Amnesty International, Ambassador of Conscience. In 2003 they won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, The Hand's That Built America, featured in Gangs of New York. U2 went out on the road last year with U2 360 in support of their album No Line On The Horizon - after the tour opened in Barcelona - U2 360 continued throughout Europe and North America.
