TicketsThe Cardinals have undertaken a program that, if successful, will permit holders of unused tickets to obtain a refund of sales tax included in the ticket price. The result of the program will not be known until mid to late 2009, at the earliest. In the meantime, the Cardinals are permitting holders of unused tickets to apply for the refunds, in the event that the Missouri Department of Revenue makes them available.
To obtain a refund, a ticket holder must timely file an application form and surrender the tickets with the form. Click here to download a printable application form, or obtain one from the Cardinals ticket office.
To have a valid claim, a ticket holder must follow the instructions printed on the application form and submit the completed application in time for the Cardinals to receive it by October 31, 2009. Applications that the Cardinals receive after October 31, 2009 will not be valid and will be discarded.
Once it is finally determined whether the Missouri Department of Revenue will make the refunds available, it will take the Cardinals six to eight weeks to process the applications.
